Who's in Charge

At Haven Homes of Stow, we feel it is very important that health care professionals make
health care management decisions. In many Assisted Living companies, real estate investors
make important decisions and that can lead to some fundamental problems. We want you to
know who is in charge at Haven Homes, which is owned by Gretchen Hazle.

Gretchen has over 30 years of nursing experience, including medical-surgical, emergency
room, orthopedics, rehabilitation, long term care and management. She is a Registered Nurse,
Certified in Gerontological Nursing (nursing care of the elderly). She is a Licensed Nursing
Home Administrator (LNHA), as well as a Certified Professional in Health care Quality (CPHQ).

Gretchen has consulted to the Nursing Home and Assisted Living industry for the past 15
years and has acted as an appointed temporary manager of Nursing Homes for the federal and
several state governments. She continues to consult on "standard of care" issues.
